Slow Start...

I am having a very slow start on this Blog...

and I would like to apologize for that. I have to get myself organized soon, so anyone who comes around, comes back later on...

Save Yourself , health tutorials

SaveYourself.ca publishes articles and advanced tutorials about common aches, pains and injuries. The writing is style clear and fun, and there’s a strong emphasis on science. In addition to almost 200 free articles on every imaginable topic related to pain problems, the site offers several really detailed tutorials for about $15 each, and there are several free sections at the start of each of them. There’s an especially detailed one about low back pain, which is really heavily referenced and has a lot of fantastic information about how back pain isn’t really “structural.” Another large tutorial about myofascial pain syndrome and trigger points can either be purchased separately, or it comes as a free bonus with some of the other tutorials (so you can get 2 for 1). There are two big knee-pain tutorials, one about iliotibial band syndrome, the other about patellofemoral pain syndrome — and they probably offer more information about those conditions that you can find anywhere else. There’s also a plantar fasciitis tutorial, one about muscle strains, and another about neck “cricks.” All of them seem to be simple and clear enough for patients, yet they are so detailed and heavily researched that most health care professionals could learn a lot from them as well.
